Steps to Recompute Field

One feature that Prescient Author provide is Field Recomputation.

If you want field to be updated when other field is changed then you can do this using Prescient Author.

To recompute the field open Control Properties dialog and click on Advanced button.

 Following are the steps to recompute field

1. Specify the event on which you want to update the field from Event combo box.
2. Specify the control Select the field which you want to recompute from Control to be updated Combo Box.
3. Click on > button.
4. You can remove the field to be updated from the Controls to be updated list box. Select the control name and click on < button.
