Assigning Menus to the File
After creating menus you and assign file to that menu you have to attach that
menu to the file.
Following are steps to assign menus to the file
- Right click on Menus option in Module Section
of Project Tree. Select Create Menu
option. OR click on the Menus
button on the Prescient Author Navigator dialog box.
- To assign menu to file you have to select Menu on File
tab.
- You can select type of file to which you wish to attach menu
from File Type combo box.
- You can select form from Form combo box.
- You have to select File from Aspx File combo box and
click on Select File button..
- To assign a Menu as a top level menu, you have to Click on Assign
button. (Refer to Selecting
Menu )
- To remove a Top level menu, select a menu from
Tree and click on Remove button.
- You can set the mapping between the menu variables and file variables by
clicking on Map Parameter button. (Refer to Assigning parameter for
menu)
- To assign a Menu as a Left menu, Click on
Assign button. (Refer to Selecting Menu )
- To set properties of the left menu Click on Set
Properties button. (Refer to Set Properties)
- To remove a top level menu, select a menu from Tree and
click on Remove button.
- You can set the mapping between the menu variables and file variables by
clicking on Map Parameter button. (Refer to Assigning parameter for
menu)
- Click on Ok button.
